05.10.01 Grundik (thermenvox, effects) participate at The Jewish raindance: a radical ritual revival project (Judson Memorial Church, 55 Washington Square South NYC). The Jewish Raindance, also known as Simchat Bet Ha-shoeva, was held annually in the Jerusalem Temple during the Sukkot Festival. Of all ancient rituals, this is considered the most joyful and the most mysterious. Jewish Raindance: A Radical Ritual Revival is an experimental interpretation of this event, incorporating contemporary music, trance dance, and performance art with ancient myths and tradition.
